Supply Chain – European Control Tower – Romania Slatina

As part of the European Control Tower team, under the coordination of the HQ Control Tower Manger, the employee will be fully responsible of defining, implementing and monitoring the transport-planning plan among the entire European Supply Chain network.

Responsibilities
•    Define transport plan in coordination with planning department and local logistics teams to ensure service level maximizing transport efficiencies.
•    Follow Up daily operations (loading/transport/unloading) with Pirelli local teams (Inbound/Outbound) and transport Suppliers to recover potential criticalities.
•    Set up transport requirements (transport Time, Transport typology …) in Pirelli Tool SMT (Slot Management Tool). 
•    Coordinate Transport suppliers with Transport Purchasing department to guarantee loading plan and service level, maximizing cost efficiencies.
•    Define the best transport typology and carrier portfolio for each flow (Intercompany Flows/Direct Deliveries) and customer (Replacement/OE)
•    Ensure documentation integrity inside the ERP and to maintain the transport Systems (TMS and SMT) updated;
•    Define KPI and manage the reporting to follow-up transport and operational performances. 

Requirements
•    Degree in Management Engineering / Economics, preferably with specialization in Supply Chain. 
•    Fluent in English (Italian will be appreciated).
•    Strong MS Office (especially Excel) skills and wide numerical/analytical skills
•    Operational approach and problem solving are key success factors.
•    Cross-Functional and team building Approach are mandatory.
