DRIVE YOUR FUTURE

We are looking for an ISCIR Engineer who is passionate about technical compliance, industrial equipment, and operational excellence.

In this role, you will ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of all ISCIR-regulated equipment across our manufacturing site. Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, external contractors, and regulatory authorities, you will coordinate inspections, maintenance activities, technical documentation, and legal compliance, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational reliability.

YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES

  • Maintain the complete inventory and registration of all ISCIR-regulated equipment and installations.
  • Coordinate the registration of equipment with the Territorial ISCIR Authority and ensure compliance with all applicable legal requirements.
  • Ensure the safe and compliant operation of ISCIR equipment, including forklifts, cranes, elevators, steam boilers, steam pipelines, pressure vessels, and other regulated installations.
  • Coordinate the installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, modification, and replacement of ISCIR equipment and components in accordance with technical regulations.
  • Ensure that all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities are performed by authorized personnel and certified contractors.
  • Monitor the technical condition of equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance, periodic inspections, and statutory technical verifications.
  • Prepare equipment and technical documentation for official ISCIR inspections and actively participate during verification activities.
  • Maintain accurate technical records, equipment registers, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure the availability and proper implementation of operating instructions and technical documentation for all ISCIR equipment.
  • Coordinate communication with ISCIR authorities regarding registrations, inspections, incidents, accidents, or technical non-conformities.
  • Recommend the shutdown of equipment whenever safety, maintenance, or legal compliance requires it.
  • Investigate equipment failures and support accident investigations by providing technical information to the relevant authorities.
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions resulting from technical inspections and verification reports.
  • Prevent the operation of ISCIR equipment by unauthorized personnel.
  • Ensure the company's full compliance with ISCIR legislation, technical prescriptions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the reliability, safety, and operating conditions of ISCIR equipment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of authorized operators and coordinate the renewal of ISCIR certifications and authorizations.
  • Deliver technical guidance and training to employees regarding the safe operation of ISCIR-regulated equipment.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc technical reports related to ISCIR activities, equipment status, and fleet repair activities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong knowledge of Romanian ISCIR legislation and technical regulations.
  • Experience coordinating the maintenance, inspection, and operation of ISCIR-regulated equipment.
  • Good understanding of industrial maintenance processes and technical documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities while ensuring compliance with legal and safety requirements.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk prevention.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports, and compliance records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

WHAT PUTS YOU IN POLE POSITION

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electromechanics, or a related technical field.
  • ISCIR authorization according to the applicable Romanian legislation.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with lifting equipment, pressure vessels, steam systems, boilers, or industrial utilities.
  • Experience coordinating external contractors and regulatory inspections.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance methodologies and asset management systems.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
