Job Scope
Reporting directly to the Pensions Manager, with a dotted line to the Company Financial Controller, this role is responsible for providing accurate accounting and reporting of the pension Schemes to the Trustee and the Company.

Required Qualifications and Aptitudes
Education
- Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA with 2 years PQE
Experience
- Strong technical accounting skills (essential)
- Relevant statutory accounting experience covering financial accounting within a UK medium / large sized organization (essential)
- Pensions experience or knowledge (desirable)
- Audit experience eg working with and co-ordinating auditors (essential)
Essential Skills
- Good technical financial accounting skills with knowledge of internal controls
- A high proficiency in Excel is essential.
- Experience of SAP is very desirable, although training will be given
- Good analysis skills, able to interpret data and then communicate findings accordingly
- Able to establish and develop relationships at all levels within the organisation
- High level of attention to detail
- Resilient and flexible in the approach to work and enthusiastic in outlook
- Able to work under pressure, often with changing demands / deadlines
Experience of SAP is very desirable, although training will be given
Salary for this role will be £45k - £50k, depending upon qualification, skills and experience.

The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. We have a Smart working policy (hybrid working; 3 days in the office and 2 days at home), although any new starters to the business will be required to be in the office on a full-time basis initially.
