•Support to the Sector engineers for the AtEx analysis and for the definition of the safety solutions to be implemented on machinery procured from the market. This activity involves the necessary interactions with the Engineering experts and with the machinery suppliers
•Support to the Pirelli Factories for the AtEx area’s classification on the existing production locations and for the definition of the related countermeasures 
•Auditing and validation in the Pirelli Factories on the AtEx assessments and recovery countermeasures put in place on existing machinery 
•Scouting, testing and validation of new safety related solutions to support the Pirelli Sector Engineering experts 
•Management of external suppliers for AtEx assessments, area classifications, and the related documentation for the production machinery 
•Documentation management and validation to ensure the correct safety and reproducibility of the new machine developed
•Good knowledge of international safety and AtEx regulations and standards
•Engineering in industrial automation systems knowledge
•Good knowledge of projects management and organization 
•Good ability to work in team and coordinate AtEx design related activities

•At least 5-7 years in the Machinery Safety field;
•Master Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electrical / Electronical Engineering 
•English fluent
