The resource will be assigned to the Corporate Affairs, Internal Audit, Security and Compliance function. The resource will have to guarantee the management of privacy and data protection activities according to the group framework and applicable legislation in Italy, the EU and in other jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
The Privacy Compliance Specialist will support the Compliance team in the execution of operational tasks related to Compliance projects with focus on implementation and maintenance of the Privacy Management System of the Group, supporting Local and Group DPOs, business functions and Group in the following activities:
•Monitoring compliance with EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), other data protection provisions issued in countries where Pirelli is present and with the internal policies in relation to the protection of personal data.
•Providing legal advice regarding data protection by design, data protection impact assessments, personal data breach, personal data processing register, procedures on privacy topics, etc.
•Supporting Legal, Purchasing teams in the negotiation of data processing agreements, privacy-sensitive contracts, and agreements.
•Performing audits and determine whether the company needs to adjust procedures to comply with regulations; ensure that findings from the audits are reported and acted upon.
•Managing outside counsels with respect to data protection matters.
•Periodically coordinating with Compliance team on data protection matters.

The resource will be involved in other Compliance projects based on specific requirements of the Group.

 

Requirements
•Education: Law / Economics degree 
•Seniority:  3-5 years in Law, Multinationals, Law Firms or Consultancy firms, focus on privacy and regulatory matters
•Excellent English language skills that include the ability to write about complex legal matters concerning data protection issues
•Technological and logical approach on implementing compliance frameworks
•Professional knowledge of applicable Privacy laws and regulation at a global level (with main focus on Italian applicable laws and EU GDPR)
•Ability to integrate and work effectively with neighboring functions, such as Audit, Legal, Security, IT etc.
•Cross process view and problem-solving attitude
•Proactive and team working attitude 
•Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
•CIPP/E, CIPP/M and other relevant certification a plus
