Life Cycle Assessment Internship


The Life Cycle Assessment Intern will join the Sustainability and Future Mobility function supporting the team carrying out the following activities: 
-    As part of the LCA Team, support Pirelli’s Eco & Safety Design Strategy implementation, performing Life Cycle Assessment and analytical works related to the different elements of the life cycle stages of Pirelli’s products and services, thus contributing to the improvement of their performances.
-    Act as a technical interface with the other involved departments for all those aspects related to LCA

It is required a University degree (Master's Degree) or PhD in technical and scientific studies concerning environment, energy and chemistry (such as, environmental engineering, chemistry engineering, environmental science, etc.).
Studied subjects should include: Life Cycle Assessment, environmental science, environmental engineering, ecology, chemical science, environmental technologies (for water, air, soil,…).

Italian and Fluent English 

•    Master’s/PhD degree or working experience involving significant conceptual and practical use of LCA

Desirable Skills
The LCA Specialist should have:
•    Comprehensive and proved knowledge about Life Cycle Assessment, related standards and best practices
•    Comprehensive and proved command of Life Cycle Assessment Software (knowledge of GaBi suite will be a plus)
•    Good knowledge of environmental chemistry and engineering
•    Very good knowledge of MS Office suite and database management.
•    Result and quality orientation.
•    Good capacity for teamwork.
•    Good capacity for analysis and synthesis.
•    Good communication skill with strong team work ability.
•    Good ability to Communicate in person, but especially in writing, as in report writing.
