Title:  Internship Finance

Pirelli, leading tyre manufacturing company, with over € 6.6 bln turnover, is looking for a talented and highly motivated Finance Intern for our HQ Finance Department based in Milan.

The HQ Finance Department is responsible for a vast portfolio of tasks, including the Group financing on bank and capital markets, the centralized financial risk management, trade finance activities and the financial planning area. The team is also the focal points for our affiliates’ financial needs, supporting Group companies in evaluating financing options, working capital solutions and optimizing their capital structures.

The role includes the support to the Financial Markets and Financial Planning teams in the following activities:

group planning and control activities specifically on net financial expenses and cost of debt;
budget for the international treasury center;
hedging activities on financial markets (plain vanilla derivatives both on rates and currency);
Relationship with affiliates on finance topics, including the preparation of financial intercompany agreements;
Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and presentations across the team;
Propose process improvement initiatives.
 

The ideal candidate has the following experience and characteristics:

MSc student in Economics/Business Administration/Finance
Fluent in Italian and English
Strong MS Office Excel
Ability to work independently, curious, challenge-driven
Excellent attention to detail
Soft/influencing skills, team work, communication
