Main Activities

Pirelli, leading tyre manufacturing company, with over € 5 bln turnover, is looking for a talented and highly motivated Finance Analyst for our HQ Finance Department based in Milan.
The HQ Finance Department is responsible for a vast portfolio of tasks, including the Group financing on bank and capital markets, the centralized financial risk management, trade finance activities and the Finance area reporting. The team is also the focal points for our affiliates’ financial needs, supporting Group companies in evaluating financing options, working capital solutions and optimizing their capital structures.

 

The role includes mainly the following activities:

 

  • Be an active part during the monthly and quarterly Group reporting process
  • Update and maintenance of financial systems / databases
  •  Prepare financial intercompany agreements
  • Provide support for the elaboration of ad hoc financial analysis and presentations
  • Support the senior members of the team to deploy a multitude of projects across the working capital, financial risk management and funding areas
  • Propose/start/lead process improvement initiatives

 

The ideal candidate has the following experience, knowledge and characteristics:

 

  • MSc in Economics/Business Administration/Finance/Banking & Insurance
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Strong MS Office Excel skills
  • Able to work independently, curious, challenge-driven, asks questions 
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Soft/influencing skills, team work, communication 
  •  A previous experience in the finance department of a corporate or in a financial institution is a nice to have
