Main Activities

As a Digital Factory Engineer, the candidate will have the opportunity to take part to the digital transformation projects of factories at our headquarters. In particular, he/she will participate to the following activities:


-    Working for connectivity and data exchange to machinery (knowledge of automation in the PLC, SCADA, HMI, Industrial Internet of Things is welcome)
-    Integrating new systems with existing legacy systems and improving the Manufacturing Execution System and Manufacturing Operation Management
-    Installating, commissioning and debugging of software solutions, analyzing data and monitoring KPIs to ensure the correct functioning of the systems
-    Enhancing the traceability of events, items (raw materials and semi-finished products) in the factory through identification technologies (Barcode, Datamatrix), Self-identification (RFID, BLE) integrated in some cases with artificial vision

 

Requirements

 

•    Master Degree in Computer engineering / Computer Science / Automation Engineering / Robotic Engineering or similar
•    Knowledge of the main operating systems (Microsoft and UNIX)
•    Experience in developing applications in .NET and Python languages
•    Experience in main relational (SQLserver, Oracle) and document databases (MongoDB)
•    Development of Web based applications (HTML5)
•    Knowledge of automation in the PLC, SCADA, HMI, Industrial Internet of Things and Radio frequency systems (RFID) OPC UA and DA, MQTT protocols will be considered a plus
•    Proactivity and Relationship Building skills
•    Availability to travel 
•    English fluency
