Main Activities

The candidate will join the Compounding Team in the Pirelli’s Research and Development Material area. In particular, he/she will have the opportunity to deal with rubber compounds and their characteristics with a special focus on chemical and mechanical properties.

The candidate will participate to the following activities:

 

  • Studies of fundamental and innovative know-how on the chemical-physical and mechanical characteristics and properties of compounds and raw materials
  • Support for the industrialization of new compounds
  • Troubleshooting support to Operative Units
  • Developments for cost reduction plan
  • Developments for Health and Safety issues
  • Competitor benchmarking analysis
  • Analysis of tire materials for qualitative improvement

 

Requirements

 

  • Master Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science
  • Knowledge of chemical-physical-mechanical characterization techniques of materials
  • Knowledge of macromolecules
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis tools
  • English fluency
