Main Activities
We are looking for an Algorithm Development Engineer
You will be a part of the CyberTM Tyre Algorithm and Methodologies team, a multidisciplinary team at the forefront of tyre electronics innovation. You will be responsible of researching, inventing, and engineering algorithms for smart tyres, translating vehicle dynamics and tyre mechanics concepts into efficient logical flows.
You will have the following main responsibilities:
- Analyze test data from indoor and outdoor rigs
- Develop data processing and analysis tools in Matlab
- Design testing processes, including development of custom instruments and their software interfaces
- Perform Measurement System Analysis
- Design and perform testing campaigns on both indoor rigs and cars
Requirements
- Strong mathematical/analytical skills, especially regarding linear algebra and DSP (Digital Signal Processing).
- Knowledge of classic mechanics
- Passion and curiosity for coding
- Attitude to problem-solving
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in Matlab scripting
- Basic C knowledge
- Knowledge of additional scripting/programming languages (Python)
- Basic understanding of Bluetooth and of CAN networks
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and vehicle engineering
Education and Background
- M. Sc. in Engineering or Physics
- Valid driving license (B)
- No previous work experience required
It is considered a plus:
- Previous experience of development boards through university/personal projects (e.g. Arduino), especially if involving IMU and GPS systems
- Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
