This position is responsible for support industrial equipment sourcing strategies, in collaboration with Business Units, R&D, Operation and engineering management.

This includes not only price negotiations, but also facilitating supplier relationships, identify spending, contract negotiations and supplier selection to minimize the total cost of ownership.

The key to this position will be a deep understanding and experience of sourcing and spend management processes, including methodology and the ability to enact the sourcing process within cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Developing sourcing strategies, which include a streamlined approach that leads to improved efficiencies, sustainability and quality;
  • Understanding and coordinating participant and stakeholder requirements;
  • Negotiating with suppliers, contractors and engineering firms;
  • Establishing continuous improvement processes to maximize the value of these contracts as it relates to Engineering/Construction Services, Bulk Materials, and Process Equipment;
  • Weekly and Monthly performance reporting.


 Educational & Background Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical or management engineering;
  • 2-4 years’ experience in procurement of Engineering/Construction Services, Bulk Materials and Process Equipment to support capital Projects;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to plan lead, organize, and multi-task several capital projects at one time;
  • Strong computer skills including Analytics, SAP and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Good analysis and ability to work with complex data and information;
  • Must be customer focused, team oriented, self-motivated, and results oriented.
