Title:  Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities
He/She will have the following main Responsibilities:
 
• Configure and manage Azure Cloud environment
• Build, design, implement and manage cloud services while assuring security, scalability, and compliance
• Provide second-level support for all Azure infrastructure services with a strong focus on Computing, Network, and Storage services
• Drive cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions through design and technical discussion concerns for size, performance, agility, and HA/DR
• Implement CI/CD-based application development methodologies using tools like Jenkins, TFS, and PowerShell
• Work with other internal teams to ensure smooth and successful implementation, delivery, and deployment of complex solutions
• Collaborate with other teams in Designing and implementing Azure AD advanced features
 
Required Skills
 
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, information technology, computer science, or a closely related technical field
• At least 2-3 years of experience as Azure Cloud Architecture or Azure Cloud Administrator
• Strong experience with Azure services like Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, SQL Database, Application services, Virtual Networks, etc.
• Experience with Azure Cloud costs (price calculator and monitoring) and concept of reservation and Azure Advisor
• Experience in monitoring distributed infrastructure using Azure tools
• Experience with policies, backup and alerting Azure services
• Knowledge of SQL language
• Working with databases like MSSQL and MYSQL
• Experience in scripting
• Know how in using open-source tools that include Redis, OpenStack, and Docker
• Strong experience in at least one operating system (Linux, UNIX, Windows) and integrated development environments
• Basic knowledge of working with networking elements like switches, routers, HTTP, IP addresses, LAN/WAN technology, DNS, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and TCP/IP
• Practical knowledge of cybersecurity and solid understanding of cybersecurity policies
• Basic knowledge of High Performance Computing and Virtual Desktop concepts and specific corresponding Azure solutions
• Basic experience with GenAI cloud services
