It is among the world’s major producers of tyres and associated services and the only one focused solely on the Consumer tyre market, which includes tyres for cars, motorcycles and bicycles. 
 

Within the Cycling department, the Business Development Cycling for Italy will be responsible for developing the Pirelli brand in the local market. Furthermore, collaborating with the FDV Moto/Cycling Italy, the specialist will engage in negotiations with the company’s key clients nationwide, ensuring essential information is provided for maintaining client relationships (pricing, purchasing conditions, product timing, and technical specifications). The desired candidate will also be accountable for achieving Replacement revenue targets according to adopted commercial policies (pricing, margins, volumes).


Specifically, the candidate will focus on the following activities:

•Regular engagement with active and potential clients (retailers, e-tailers, distributors/wholesalers) in collaboration with the sales force.
•Working closely with commercial management and Operational Marketing for acquiring new clients.
•Defining seasonal and tactical sales campaigns.
•Suggesting and collaborating with Trade & Consumer Marketing for promoting initiatives dedicated to business development.
•Proposing new product/marketing opportunities within the company;
•Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to keep management informed.
•Training and coaching of Pirelli’s sales force in Cycling.
•Analysis and development of business opportunities.
•Direct management of local key accounts.
•Support in defining and implementing sales campaigns;
•Definition of the local marketing plan in line with HQ guidelines and allocated budget.
•Regular visits to retailers and presence at key trade & consumer events.
•Gathering and sharing market feedback with Moto/Cycling management and HQ. 

 

Requirements: 
•Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Economics.
•Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial roles, preferably in the Cycling industry.
•Familiarity with multichannel distribution approaches.
•Availability for business trips, as the workplace is mobile.
•Smart and dynamic approach to work.
•Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Proactive attitude and commitment to achieving goals.
•Fluency in English and Italian.
•Strong computer skills including excellent knowledge of Office and, preferably, of CRM.
