Title:  Internship - Pricing & Demand Planning Prestige

Description: 

The candidate will operate within the Operative Marketing team and the focus of his/her role will primarily involve pricing and demand planning activities. As part of this role, he/she will be trained for shaping pricing strategies, analyzing market trends, and refining demand forecasts to drive the success of the brand.
Starting from day one, under tutor’s supervision, the candidate will be involved in the following activities:

 

Pricing:
•    Price policy and pricelist definition (by brand/model/ipcode);
•    Pricing reports (Sell-in /out prices, Prices variances);
•    Competitors’ pricing monitoring (Pricing tracker - competitors price list variations – and monthly sell-in/sell-out);
•    Sales and Price variation analysis and Pirelli’s positioning by region/market.

 

Demand Planning:
•    Defining monthly forecast proposals in line with strategies and guidelines defined by BU;
•    Analyzing the statistics data output from the systems;
•    Data and scenario analysis;
•    Periodical market analysis and internal/external benchmarks, identifying the best practices;
•    Forecast accuracy target and reporting definition. 

 

Skills & Competencies:    

•    Master’s Degree in Quantitative Engineering, Statistics, Marketing, Economics or related fields. 
•    Fluency in English (at least B) and Italian

•    Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particular Excel. 
•    A strong mathematical and analytical mindset, with a robust understanding of business and marketing principles;
•    Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively within a diverse team;
•    Willingness to engage in project-based work with a proactive attitude;
•    Good communication skills to convey ideas and collaborate effectively with colleagues;
•    Passion for the Automotive World.
