Join the Pirelli Modeling team and play a pivotal role in advancing the virtual design of tyres, with a particular focus on Vehicle Dynamics and Tyre Modeling.  
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our OE Support and Vehicle Dynamics team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of automotive engineering and tyre manufacturing, working alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN  
You will collaborate with your tutor in:  

•    Vehicle dynamics simulation (open-loop maneuvers, lap time simulation, driving simulator sessions).
•    OE support: providing technical support to prestige customers (providing tyre models, vehicle analysis, tyre analysis).
•    Analysis and post-processing of data from outdoor measurements (vehicle and tyre).
•    Understanding tyre construction and behavior.
•    Developing software tools to observe vehicle behavior and optimize simulations and data post-processing.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 
•    A master's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Automotive Engineering is preferred.
•    Background in the following areas (in priority order) would be beneficial:
o    Passion for vehicle dynamics.
o    Experience in vehicle dynamics simulation using lookup table-based models (VI-CarRealTime, IPG CarMaker, CarSim, etc.).
o    Data post-processing skills.
o    Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB or Python for automation of pre- and post-processing tools.
•    Fluency in Italian and English.
