Join the Pirelli Materials Modeling Team and contribute to the development of innovative tyre compounds with a focus on performance, sustainability, and safety. From the outset, you will be engaged in advanced research activities exploring the mechanical properties of materials, collaborating with our global technical centers to align development tools and methodologies. Guided by your tutor, you will take part in dynamic and challenging projects ranging from analysis to industrialization of innovative testing procedures, driving improvements in quality and innovation.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
You will collaborate with your tutor in:
• Development on tyre compounds testing methodologies.
• Research on fundamental and innovative know-how regarding the mechanical characterization of material.
• Troubleshooting to assist operational units (O.U.).
• Benchmarking analysis of competitors.
• Analysis of tyre materials for quality improvement (failure analysis).
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering or related fields.
• Knowledge of testing techniques for stress/load characterization (static/dynamic),
• Report analysis dedicated to mechanical characterization techniques for materials (KPI calculation).
• Advanced knowledge of Matlab or other programming language.
• Good knowledge of statistical analysis tools.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
