DRIVE YOUR FUTURE 
Join the Pirelli Materials Team and contribute to the development of innovative tyre compounds with a focus on performance, sustainability, and safety. From the outset, you will be engaged in advanced research activities exploring the chemical, physical, and mechanical properties of materials, collaborating with our global technical centers to align development tools and methodologies. Guided by your tutor, you will take part in dynamic and challenging projects ranging from analysis to industrialization, driving improvements in quality and innovation.

 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN  
You will collaborate with your tutor in:  

•    Development of tyre compounds according to product performance specifications.
•    Research on fundamental and innovative know-how regarding the chemical, physical, and mechanical characteristics and properties of compounds and raw materials.
•    Support for the industrialization of new compounds and raw materials.
•    Troubleshooting to assist operational units (O.U.).
•    Development of cost-reduction plans.
•    Development of projects related to Health and Safety and sustainability.
•    Benchmarking analysis of competitors.
•    Analysis of tyre materials for quality improvement (failure analysis).


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 
•    Master’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or related fields. 
•    Knowledge of rubber materials and specific ingredients mainly used for tyre application.
•    Knowledge of chemical, physical, and mechanical characterization techniques for materials.
•    Basic knowledge of statistical analysis tools.
•    Fluency in Italian and English.
