HSE Plant Manager – BOLLATE

Involved in motorsport since 1907, Pirelli has been the exclusive official tyre partner of the Formula 1™ World Championship since 2011 and has just renewed the agreement until 2023.

The Head of Safety Prevention Protection and Environment (RSPP) will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing safety and prevention activities within the company.
The candidate will carry out the task of RSPP in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08 ATECO 5 (the candidate will have to provide the legal requirements and training) while maintaining a constant update on the reference legislation for both safety and environment.


Main activities:

• Identify the existing risk factors in the company, carrying out risk assessments pursuant to Legislative Decree 81 / 08, proposing and managing safety plans and procedures, together with the indication of the PPE adopted, for the protection of the physical integrity of employees and their protection in the workplace and the healthiness of the same;
• Gather all the information necessary for the elaboration of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR and DUVRI) as well as the implementation of specific training programs for workers in collaboration with HR, also in the Environment field;
• Handle injury and occupational disease cases with in-depth analysis and definition of countermeasures;
• Keep relations with the workers' representatives and carry out the periodic meetings provided for by Legislative Decree 81/08;
• Be responsible for the Environment and Safety management system according to UNI EN ISO 45001: 2018 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015;
• Conduct ergonomic risk assessment based on specific reference standards ISO 11228-1 Lifting and Carrying, ISO 11228-2 Pushing and pulling, ISO 11228-3 Handling of low loads at high frequency, ISO 11226 Postures and company guidelines;
• Must have knowledge in the field of waste management with particular reference to their classification in order to issue, after specific analysis, the CER codes of reference;
• Run the procedures for the achievement and maintenance of Environmental practices and authorizations with reference to the AUA and AIA regimes, planning and following the activities deriving from them;
• Conduct Environmental Risk Assessments on the requirements of Legislative Decree 3 April 2006, n. 152 and subsequent amendments and produce related procedures for their mitigation;
• Carry out internal and constant audits on the activities carried out by Pirelli and on external suppliers, drawing up appropriate reports as per Legislative Decree 81/08 procedures and as per the Environmental Management System;
• Involve, as internal promoter, all company employees in a growing and constant attention to issues related to health and safety and environmental protection and respect in the workplace by applying the methodology Pirelli Excellence in Safety with BBS foundation, participating and organizing the structure of regular meetings and safety committees;
• Knowledge of the legislation d. lgs. n. 231/2001


The person we are looking for has at least three years of significant previous experience in manufacturing in structured companies with complex production processes, preferably coming from contexts where he/she has been able to develop good communication skills with both internal and external contacts. Candidates with experience in the chemical, rubber and general manufacturing sectors will be considered with particular interest.
