Group Safety Professional (HSE)

Involved in motorsport since 1907, Pirelli has been the exclusive official tyre partner of the Formula 1™ World Championship since 2011 and has just renewed the agreement until 2023.

Pirelli is looking for a “Group Safety Professional (HSE)” to enlarge its Health, Safety and Environment structure. The resource will respond directly to the Safety Group Manager, contributing to the continuous development and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management Policies and Tools at corporate level.

The Group Safety Professional will manage reports on security, ergonomics and safety-environment management systems issues and he/she will provide technical and management support in the implementation of continuous improvement programs in the field. The new resource will take care of the development and maintenance of group management and operational control procedures, will cooperate with technical functions in projects to improve machine safety, will contribute to the implementation of corporate training plans, will carry out investigation and analysis activities on incidental events and he/she will participate in auditing activities.


• Degree in chemical, environmental, mechanical engineering or prevention techniques in the environment and workplaces;
• Training course qualifying the role of RSPP/ASPP in Ateco 2007 C sectors;
• In-depth knowledge of Italian legislation on Health and Safety at Work;
• 5-7 years of experience gained in the industrial field (mechanical, chemical, manufacturing) preferably in international contexts within Prevention and Protection Services with the role of RSPP/ASPP or equivalent experience gained at consultancy firms;
• Knowledge and experience on ergonomic risk assessment and management methods
• Knowledge and experience on security management systems (OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001) and environment (ISO14001);
• Knowledge and experience regarding machine safety.
• Knowledge of auditing techniques in the field of safety and environment and direct experience in audit planning and conduct (qualifications as third party auditor are a plus);
• Experience in the design and conduct of safety and environmental training courses (qualification as a trainer in the field of safety is a plus);
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English that allows full autonomy in the relationship with the companies of the group.
Good personal and mental flexibility, ability to work in teams, self-confidence and resilience, good interpersonal and communication skills. Nice to have is a proactive attitude ability to engagement, analytical skills and problem solving orientation.
