We are looking for a Buyer for R&D


The candidate will join the Purchasing team in Milan HQ and will carry out, according to internal procedures, the purchasing activity with particular focus on R&D material and services.

He/she will ensure that Total Cost of Ownership is minimized with the best commercial conditions for the Company.



Main responsibilities:


In particular, the Candidate will be responsible for:


- managing Suppliers Portfolio, including the platform Synertrade and update of a “Albo Fornitori”;

- defining internal customers’ needs and ensuring Supply continuity;

- preparing Tender documentation (technical attachments with specifications and reference data);

- issuing Request for Quotations (RFQs), including collection and tabulation of tenders;

- participating in negotiations;

- issuing Purchase Orders and Call-Offs;

- supporting the finalization of supply contracts.



Furthermore, he/she will provide reporting and evaluations of Suppliers by monitoring:


- Progress of the main projects;

- State of progress of Cost Reduction initiatives;

- Purchasing dashboard





- 2/3 years of experience in similar roles in a fast-paced environment;

- MSc or Master in Engineering, Economics or relevant fields;

- Very good proficiency in English (B2/C1 – written and spoken);

- Excellent ability to create and edit MS / Office Excel documents (pivot; macro);

- Good dexterity in using MS Office / Power Point;

- Knowledge of SAP
