Motorsport Planning and Events Coordinator

Pirelli Tyres, one of the leading international tyre manufacturers, is currently looking for a Planning and Events Coordinator to be based at the head office in Didcot, Oxfordshire .

The successful candidate will become an integral member of the Pirelli Motorsport team; you will assist the Travel and Operations Manager whilst being responsible for scheduling and allocating activities and maintaining detailed records.

This role will suit a computer experienced and highly organised and motivated individual, who is able to work autonomously using initiative. The candidate will also be expected to have an acute attention to detail.

Main duties will include:

• Allocation and recording of all motorsport activities
• Personnel planning at motorsport events
• Managing event schedules
• Event accident reporting
• Time management reports
• General circuit requirements
• Managing invoices and purchase orders
• Liaison with other internal departments to coordinate events
• Requirement of some travel

Essential Criteria:

• Excel, SAP, EBP
• To be fully flexible and meet deadlines
• To be able to prioritise work under pressure
• To be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail
• To be able to multitask
• Excellent communication skills
• Good general education
• Previous experience in a motorsport and/or planning events role would be advantageous.

The successful candidate must have current eligibility to work in the UK and the ability to travel freely. A driving licence is also required.
