The Auto Sales Department is looking for a:  Area Sales Manager West & IDF (M/F/X)

 

Start date: 1st September 2026

 

MISSIONS

 

Within the Sales Department, reporting to the Sales Manager France, the Area Sales Manager is responsible for leading and animating a field sales team of 6 Sales Representatives, ensuring the correct implementation of the Pirelli commercial and strategic policy, and driving the team to achieve the targets set by the Sales Department. The territory covered spans the western half of France, from Hauts-de-France and Ile-de-France in the north, through Normandie and Bretagne, down to Pays de la Loire and Centre-Val de Loire. The role requires a strong field presence and the successful candidate must be based in Ile-de-France. The main tasks are as follows:

 

Daily team management

  • Monitor individual commercial performance across the team
  • Accompany Chefs de Secteur on strategic client visits
  • Support the implementation of campaigns and commercial partnerships
  • Validate specific commercial actions
  • Conduct monthly individual evaluations and objective tracking

Commercial meetings & events

  • Animate regular commercial team meetings
  • Represent Pirelli at client events and strategic occasions

Strategic client follow-up

  • Personally manage and develop relationships with key strategic accounts
  • Ensure commercial continuity at the highest client level

Reporting & strategy relay

• Produce all necessary reporting for the Sales Manager France

• Act as the reliable relay of the Pirelli strategy to the field team

• Translate Group strategy into concrete and actionable field plans

 

PROFILE

 

You have a proven track record of minimum 2 years in B2B technical product sales, with experience managing or coordinating an itinerant sales force. You are proficient in negotiation techniques and have a strong commercial instinct.

 

The skills required for this position are:

 

  • Full professional proficiency in French, written and spoken
  • Good working level of English for international exchanges
  • Strong results-oriented mindset, motivated by performance and achieving targets
  • Excellent negotiation skills and relationship-building ability in a B2B environment
  • Highly autonomous, rigorous and self-organised, comfortable managing a territory independently
  • Natural team federator, creates cohesion and drives team engagement
  • Able to translate and cascade the company strategy into concrete field actions
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce CRM
  • Comfortable working within a structured management framework
  • Driving licence B mandatory
