A dedicated New Digital Products and Services team has been created to report directly to the Group Chief Digital Officer, to provide all the necessary skills and roles necessary to fulfill this new challenge and the present Job Request is aimed at extending and strengthen this team to cope with increasing number and importance of the initiatives carried on.
Accepting this job request you will join a fast growing multidisciplinary team in Pirelli Digital division, focused on delivering and evolving a compelling ecosystem of digital solutions and services Pirelli is building around its consumers and customers, premium products and leapfrog technologies.
You will report to the QA Lead, by working on several high-quality digital applications and services composed by a variety of components, such as several native mobile apps, responsive web portals, backend micro-services, APIs, cloud native and serverless functions, etc.. 
Your role will consist of assuring the high end-to-end quality standards required by such digital solutions to meet the consumer/market requirements, by managing code testing at the user level, both manually and with automated tools, and using black-box and white-box testing techniques.

Main Responsibilities:
•Contribute to the coordination of software testing and test automation activities to ensure the highest quality product delivery against defined milestones
•Interact with product management, UX/UI teams and our stakeholders to collect and discuss requirements, with software developers in order to define the best technical implementation, having quality and test-ability as top of mind priority
•Develop test plans and test suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests, by providing detailed test case reports to our stakeholders
•Find and track application defects by analyzing log file and write automated tests and/or user-level test automation tools
•Conduct and promote the development of unit, integration and end-to-end testing for the entire system, and related CI/CD pipelines with the most innovative technology stack
•Perform code reviews and ensure that our QA consultants are able to work on assigned tasks, by following the best engineering practices and coding standards
•Participate in recurrent meetings with business functions and in technical stand-up meetings with both software development, QA and validation teams

Technical Skills:
As the position involves several competences and skills spanning across different areas, here below we provide a list of the main competences we will consider in the evaluation of candidates. Not all the skills are mandatory, but a good fit for most of them will be considered as preference criteria in the selection, together with the willingness for the candidate to extend – with dedicated training support – the proper competences over the missing areas. 
•Main programming languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, SQL
•Software testing tools: WebDriverIO, JUnit, Mockito, REST Assured, Cucumber, Cypress, Postman
•Test automation tools: Appium, Katalon, Selenium
•Performance testing tools: JMeter
•Web debugging proxy tools: Charles, Fiddler
•Project management and Issue tracking tools: JIRA, Confluence
•Cloud Computing: AWS (API Gateway, CloudFront, EC2, RDS, S3, …)
•Web services design: SOA / RESTful APIs, GraphQL
•Build Automation: Maven, Gradle
•Version Control System: Git
•Basic knowledge of OOP and Docker/Microservice pattern
•Basic knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies (such as SCRUM)
•Basic knowledge of Linux / Unix shell commands

Basic Qualifications:
•BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
•At least 2 years of experience in a Software QA Testing or Development role in high profile consulting Digital/ICT companies or technological multinational groups
•Excellent communication skills and propensity to teamwork, in order to establish an effective collaboration with the internal team members, but also with business stakeholders and external ones, such as suppliers who develop part of the solutions to be integrated
•Strong objective-based orientation and problem solving attitude
•Flexibility and autonomy, proactivity, continuous curiosity in the technology evolution and the rise of new business models enabled by the Digital Disruption
•Good communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
•Experience in test automation, testing methodologies and standard QA and development tools
•Flexibility and autonomy, proactivity, continuous curiosity in the technology evolution and the rise of new Business models enabled by the Digital Disruption; be passionate, research and showcase knowledge in the Digital Industry’s latest trends and technologies and how they can be effectively applied to the Digital Solution Development
