The Marketing Department is looking for a Operative Marketing Coordinator in Athens, Greece.

MISSIONS

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will support the company’s commercial activities through market and sales analysis, sales forecasting, the coordination of sales campaigns and the calculation and management of customer rebates. The main responsabilities include: 

• Market and sales analysis: Analyse market trends and sales performance, focusing on sales volumes and prices, to identify trends, opportunities and deviations from targets.

• Commercial reporting: Prepare regular and ad hoc reports to support the Marketing and Sales teams in commercial planning and decision-making.

• Sales forecasting: Coordinate inputs from the relevant teams and prepare and update sales forecasts, monitoring actual results against forecasts.

• Corporate systems and data management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date commercial data in Pirelli’s systems to support reliable analysis, reporting and forecasting.

• Sales campaigns: Coordinate the implementation and monitoring of sales campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams, tracking results against campaign objectives.

• Customer rebate management: Calculate, record and manage customer rebates in Pirelli’s systems in accordance with agreed customer terms, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

• Rebate verification and follow-up: Verify the sales data and applicable conditions used in rebate calculations, maintain supporting records, and work with the relevant teams to resolve discrepancies.

• Cross-functional coordination: Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Finance to ensure consistency between commercial terms, campaign activities, rebate calculations and related reporting.

PROFILE

• 1–3 years of experience in sales analysis, commercial reporting, operative marketing or a related analytical role. Experience in sales forecasting, sales campaign coordination or customer rebate administration would be an advantage.

• University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related field.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including lookup functions, pivot tables and formulas for data analysis and reporting, and confidence in using corporate software. Practical experience with SAP or similar business systems would be an advantage.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail in analysing sales volumes and prices, preparing forecasts, and accurately calculating and verifying customer rebates against agreed customer terms.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to collaborate across Marketing, Sales and Finance, coordinate priorities and meet deadlines. A proactive approach, willingness to learn and ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
