DRIVE YOUR FUTURE
You will join the Information Security function and will play a key role in strengthening cyber resilience, reducing business risk, and protecting critical business services and information assets.
More specifically, you will lead the evolution and daily operation of the Cyber Security Defence Center (CSDC), ensuring the organization's ability to prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity threats.
You will drive the continuous improvement of security monitoring and incident response capabilities, including cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting and cyber assurance activities.
In addition, you will serve as the organization's CSIRT referent according to NIS2 requirements coordinating internal and external stakeholders during cyber incidents.
YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES
• Define and execute the Cyber Security Defence Center (CSDC) strategy, roadmap, and performance objectives.
• Lead security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and cyber defence operations.
• Manage cybersecurity incidents end-to-end, ensuring effective containment, recovery, and post-incident improvement actions.
• Coordinate major cyber incidents, crisis response activities, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously enhance detection capabilities through threat intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability management, automation, and operational improvements.
• Act as the company's CSIRT representative, ensuring compliance with NIS2 requirements and coordinating reporting obligations when required.
• Lead and develop internal teams and external service providers, ensuring operational excellence and service quality.
• Establish KPIs, reporting, and governance frameworks to measure CSDC performance, maturity, risks, and emerging threats.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection, or Cyber Defence environments.
• Strong knowledge of SOC operations, SIEM platforms, EDR/XDR technologies, threat intelligence, incident response methodologies, and network security.
• Proven experience managing complex cybersecurity incidents and coordinating crisis response activities.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, including NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience leading cybersecurity teams and managing external security service providers.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
• Fluency in Italian and English, with availability for on-call duty.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
• The employment contract will be regulated by “Gomma Plastica” National Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• The gross annual base salary (RAL) offered will be no less than €60.000.
• The Company is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, following the selection process, may propose a final gross annual base salary above the stated level, commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
